• [The instructor] did a fantastic job at covering the basics of how houses work and introducing us to key concepts and terminology. His selection of which topics to cover was excellent. Over the past few weeks, I've repeatedly come across terms and concepts I learned in the class, and now I understand them and can build on that knowledge. [The instructor's] approach to instruction was also very effective. His slides have great examples and diagrams, and his use of photos and live drawing during class sessions helped reinforce the content and made it easier to learn and remember. Overall, this class was exactly what I hoped for - the missing manual for the basics of buildings.

• The strongest part of this course was how much we were able to learn in such a short time. Andy’s clear explanations, combined with diagrams, real-world examples, and especially the site visits in Moretown, gave me a deeper understanding of how the layers of a home come together. The mix of classroom learning and on-site observation made the experience incredibly engaging and memorable.
