General Contracting Your Own Home
Learn project management skills and how to work with sub contractors so that you can be ready when it's time to build your own home.
General Contracting your own building project is a great way to be involved, maintain creative control, and save money. You will learn about scheduling, permits, estimating, design plans and loan structure; as well as contracting with major and minor trades and how to effectively schedule and work with subcontractors. The goal of General Contracting Your Home is for participants to feel empowered and confident during all stages of their project, from pre-design to final walk-through and documentation.
