Residential Carpentry
Go beyond the basics of residential carpentry skills
A two-week, intensive carpentry class focusing on framing, and exterior finishing in the context of new construction. The job site is your classroom throughout this hands-on course, and you will learn the basic anatomy of a structure, blueprint reading, floor, wall, and roof layout and framing methodology, exterior finishing, roofing, and window and door installation. Along the way, you will gain comfort with a variety of hand and power tools while learning the terminology of the trade.

Experience Level & Prerequisites
Comfort and familarity with power tools or enrollment in a Carpentry Fundamentals course.
