Prefab Factory Tours

A prefab factory builds homes in components, modules or transportable sections that are transported and assembled on site. This building method can be a cost-effective and predictable method for creating a custom, energy-efficient home.

This series gives you a behind-the-scenes look at several prefab factories in Vermont and New Hampshire. You’ll walk the factory floor, see the assembly lines, and witness firsthand how these homes come together. A representative from each factory will lead the tour.  John and Gio, your expert guides from Yestermorrow, will facilitate plenty of opportunities for group discussions and Q&A, so come with your burning questions!

Whether you're a prospective homeowner or a tradesperson, these tours are designed to give you valuable insights into the prefab process. By the end of the tour, you’ll have a clear understanding of the diverse possibilities offered by the region's top prefab factories — and, most importantly, you’ll know which factory is the perfect fit for your design or construction goals.

We will visit Preferred Building Systems, Foard Panels, New Frameworks, Addison Residential, and Huntington Homes
