In this one-week course you will build your own chair from a pre-existing plan. You’ll become well-versed in chair joinery techniques, especially mortise and tenon, and a variety of seat-making methods.

Experience Level & Prerequisites

Students are expected to have completed an introductory woodworking course such as Intro to the Woodshop or Beginning Woodworking. Similar courses from other schools or comparable experience is acceptable.
