Develop essential furniture-making skills and craft a table to bring home.

Gain a strong foundation in woodworking as you explore the how’s and why’s behind tool use, machine operation, and classic joinery techniques. Instructors will guide you through edge-jointing, gluing, cutting tapered legs, and crafting mortise-and-tenon joints as you build your own solid maple table.

Students will be able to choose to build either a coffee table, console table or a dining table.

Experience Level & Prerequisites

Students are expected to have completed an introductory woodworking course such as Intro to the Woodshop or Beginning Woodworking. Similar courses from other schools or comparable experience is acceptable.
