At Turkey Tail Furniture Co., we build heirloom-quality custom furniture, one piece at a time. We're a small team that believes exceptional furniture comes from skilled hands, thoughtful craftsmanship, and people who genuinely care about their work.

As we get ready to open our brand new shop and showroom right in downtown Waitsfield, we're looking for a woodworker who takes pride in building beautiful things, enjoys solving problems, and wants to grow alongside a company committed to quality over quantity.

What You'll Do

• Build custom furniture from rough lumber through final assembly and finish
• Use woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and accurately
• Read shop drawings and execute projects with attention to detail
• Have your own bench and access to fine furniture making machinery and hand tools
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and collaborative shop

What We're Looking For

• Experience in woodworking, furniture making, cabinetmaking, or carpentry
• A strong work ethic and pride in craftsmanship
• Dependability, curiosity, and a willingness to learn new skills and techniques
• Someone who values teamwork and clear communication
