Katelyn was born and raised in Vermont, now living in Brattleboro. She is currently a designer at Cushman Design Group and an adjunct professor at UMass Amherst. Her educational pursuits took her farther afield after attending Vermont Technical College; starting with the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture, then earning a Doctorate of Architecture from the University of Hawaii and a PhD in Architecture at Bond University in Queensland Australia. Katelyn’s research throughout has been human well-being in the residential built environment, specifically centered around the philosophy of biophilic design.
