Grace smiles at the camera in front of shelves of books. They have short brown hair and brown eyes, and are wearing a baseball cap and blue shirt with a gold logo of a home that says "tiny house fest vermont"

Cook and Campus Steward

Grace grew up (mostly) in Vermont and spent formative chunks of their childhood in off grid and owner built homes that shaped their appreciation for imaginative living structures and connection to the natural world.

They completed a dual BA in Sustainable Food Systems and Environmental Humanities from Sterling College, where their studies culminated in an illustrated series of essays tracing the history and resurgence of local grain production and artisan baking in the Vermont foodshed.

Outside of the kitchen, they enjoy working across mediums to craft everyday objects for their life and home, with a particular interest in quilts, hand stitching, and visible mending.
