Development Director

Norm Staunton brings more than two decades of leadership experience in nonprofit management, sustainability, and experiential education to Yestermorrow—and is proud to be a Yestermorrow alum. Drawn initially by the school’s hands-on approach to learning, craft, and community, he joined the staff to help steward and grow the resources that sustain Yestermorrow’s mission over the long term.

His work sits at the intersection of human and natural systems, including extensive experience in traditional dry-laid masonry and leadership roles in sustainability, recycling, materials management, and commercial composting. Norm holds an MBA from the University of Vermont with graduate certificates in Managing for Sustainability and Collaborative Management, and a B.A. in English from Rhode Island College. Outside of work, he enjoys skiing, sailing, surfing, and exploring the salty water with his family, while staying closely connected to community, education, and accessibility.
