SketchUp for Timber Framing
Learn to digitally draw timber frame plans and produce shop drawings.
SketchUp is ideal for designing timber frame structures, with tools to draw timbers, detail joinery, and produce shop drawings. This online course begins with a brief SketchUp intro, then dives into modeling dimensioned timbers, assembling bents, adding braces and rafters, and replicating frame elements. You'll also learn to use Layout to create complete, measured shop drawings.

- One year subscription of SketchUp Pro
Experience Level & Prerequisites
Students must have basic computer literacy and have a device that can support the latest version of SketchUp Pro and a two button mouse with a scroll wheel. Basic SketchUp skills are a plus.
