Sauna Construction

Whether for the breath, community, or cleansing of the soul, the act of sauna draws us in. 

This class will construct the interior a small sauna, designed around the fire that feeds it. We will implement construction techniques similar to those of any enclosed structure while focusing on the celebration (and mitigation) of the elements of heat, sweat, fire, water, and moisture. 

This course will focus on interior finishing and students are expected to have familiarty with basic carpentry tools prior to the start.
