The Design/Build Classroom Assistant supports the day-to-day running of the school and two Certificate programs. During the Certificate, this position maintains classroom safety standards and supports instructors in their day-to-day needs. Regular tasks include organizing tools and materials, running errands related to courses, maintaining a clean and orderly job site, and checking in with the students and instructors. This position is a critical link between the full-time Yestermorrow staff and our rotating guest instructors. When assigned Certificate Programs are not running, this person will help support Yestermorrow’s daily operations with various custodial, class support, and maintenance tasks.  

Compensation: $175.00 weekly taxable stipend, on-campus lodging, three meals/day in our kitchen Monday-Friday, and the opportunity to participate in workshops at Yestermorrow on weekends at no cost on a space-available basis.
