This small-group, hands-on retreat centers on the collaborative construction of a tree net structure. Participants work together to design and weave a net from start to finish, learning the knots, tensioning, patterns and design along the way. By the end, we'll have what can be descirbed as a "hammock meets tree house" to relax in!

The process is practical and group-oriented, with an emphasis on learning through doing. Most participants are new to weaving, and the structure comes together gradually through shared effort and coordination.

The retreat takes place at Living Tree Alliance, a small farm-based community in the Mad River Valley. Outside of the build itself, time is spent cooking, sharing meals, exploring the land, and settling into a more relaxed environment.

Open to anyone interested in hands-on building, outdoor work, and the collaborative process.
