Emily Wang is a natural builder based in Greater Boston. As Biolithic Builds LLC, she focuses on both contracting and leading workshops in the Northeast. By sharing the joyful process and delightful results of building with minimal fossil fuels, she seeks to change the cultural narrative of sustainability from sacrifice and speculation to reward and empowerment.

With a background in chemical engineering, she brings a passion for materials science and scientific inquiry to her workshops. All her work stems from an urgency to radically shift the human-environment relationship, starting at the root with the idea of what it means to live well.

In and outside of work, she enjoys writing and finding the limits of what can be done by bicycle.
