Planting Plans
This engaging, hands-on weekend course helps homeowners create beautiful, pollinator-friendly planting plans for their home landscapes. Participants will first learn how to design small garden spaces using a thoughtful mix of native plants and carefully selected cultivars that provide color, texture, and seasonal interest year-round while supporting local ecosystems.
We'll also cover drafting techniques and how to use plant graphics like a designer. Students will practice mapping out and rendering a sample garden design during the workshop. This approachable process will help homeowners or those who have an interest in the profession better visualize plant placement, spacing, layering, and drawing techniques so they can confidently begin creating sustainable and beautiful gardens at home
