The Willowell Foundation is an educational nonprofit based in Monkton. Willowell offers educational programming set in the outdoors, to a wide-spectrum of age groups, ranging from preschool to high school. It is the mission of Willowell to connect people to education, the arts, nature and each other through publicly accessible programming.

Willowell has a few outbuildings on the land where programming takes place; one of which is called the “artist’s cabin”— this a very small cabin which houses a large part of the book collection we have acquired through the years. It is in true need of repair. Though there are many things that could be addressed, the most crucial at the moment is the deck area, which needs to be fortified, as well as the door and door frame. We would love if someone were able to come and do a walk through with one of our staff members to determine the scope of repairs needed.
