This course is for folks interested in all kinds of greenhouses, from the apartment patio grower to the homesteading seed starter, to those wanting a seasonal extender space and those looking for a year round growing environment. In this course we will be starting from the ground up, discussing the in's and outs of greenhouse building design. Students will delve into topics such as choosing site locations, ecological impacts, principles of passive solar design, retrofitting preexisting buildings for a greenhouse, natural and salvaged material construction, and cost and time estimation. We will cover how to bring your dream of designing and building a greenhouse to actuality. At this end of this course you will leave with the necessary tools and understanding to begin the process of building your very own greenhouse. 

Note: This course will meet online Wednesday evenings from 6-8PM, for a total of six sessions.
