Architectural History of New England

This class will investigate the changing styles and fashion of architecture in New England from pre-contact to examples from the recent past. Focusing on trends in migration and settlement patterns; social, political, and cultural influences; advances in building technology; and means and methods of construction we will explore the developments and changes that exemplify different significant periods of the built environment in the northeast. 

NOTE: The March course will run on Wednesday evenings from 7-9pm ET for a total of eight (8) 2-hour sessions.
