Plumbing for Homeowners

This course will provide students with a general overview of how we bring potable water into our homes, how we distribute and use it in the home and how we remove and dispose of the wastewater. Topics will include plumbing terms, materials, fittings, tools and methods. Basic plumbing repairs will be demonstrated and discussed, and students will practice making connections by soldering, solvent welding, push-on fittings and by using PEX fittings.
