Description

Fall 2024 Speaker Series: Connected Communities
Electrifying Transportation in Vermont with Dave Roberts

Plug-in electric vehicles (EVs) can drastically reduce carbon and other harmful emissions and are a key strategy for achieving Vermont’s greenhouse gas emission reduction requirements. EV adoption is growing rapidly in Vermont, but purchase prices, charging infrastructure, and vehicle availability are challenges to this progress. This session will review the basics of EVs and how Vermont is addressing barriers through outreach, incentive offers, charging investments, and regulations to advance their use.
