Christian Jaquith
Bio
B. Arch. & B.S. Env. Design, Ball State U.
Christian Jaquith is a 2nd generation VT finish carpenter, Stained Glass Artisan, Skier, and life long Design/Builder. With an interest in almost anything , and being fan of the Oxford comma, he feels that there is no end to what we can perceive, imagine, and construct. As a perennial instructor at Yestermorrow, and for the National Ski Patrol, since the 1900’s he has been able to enjoy guiding and handing the tools of wood, stone, metal, glass, ice and snow over to students who have many inquiries and new tools to encounter. To have a studio/workshop, a want or need, materials and ideas lets one accomplish not only daydreams but also and the needs of being human. By intuitively making tools and things, from the smallest piece of colored glass or metal insert to soaring timber frames, and all we want in between, we create many ways to provide shelter, a sense of place, safe haven and lasting beauty. Design and Build your world, let Yestermorrow be your springboard!
