Tom is an owner of Deconstruction Works, a business specializing in building deconstruction and materials salvage. Tom has a BA in Natural Resource Conservation from UMass Amherst and is also a Master Deconstruction Skills Trainer with the Building Material and Reuse Association.  Prior to starting his company in 2014 he managed deconstruction crews for a non-profit.  He also has worked throughout the country designing and building recreation trail systems and has experience as an erosion control specialist. Tom lives in an old home in central Vermont with his children.
