Dawn Robin is a timber frame carpenter based in Plainfield, Vermont. She has been working with TimberHomes Vermont for nearly half a decade, where she became a part-owner in the fall of 2023. Her background in sculpture and sustainable building, and her love for design shapes her desire to create beautiful structures that feel good and grounding to be in. In addition to the work of timber framing itself, Dawn feels proud to be an advocate for more queer and trans people in the trades, and looks forward to future opportunities to share this timeless craft with people who might otherwise feel marginalized in the world of carpentry. When she's not making sawdust and shavings, Dawn can be found playing music, doing custom niche leatherwork, or swimming, hiking, and cross country skiing. She is hopelessly devoted to her sweet orange cat, Aldo.
