Lily is a builder who is passionate about building structures that are responsive to its inhabitants, the environment, and the wider community. Lily has experience with most phases of construction from designing and building new residential homes to renovations/retrofits of existing buildings. She received a B.A. in Ecological Building and Landscape Design from Sterling College, Vermont, which included participating in Yestermorrow’s Sustainable Building/ Design semester course. She currently lives in Brooklyn, New York, and works as a carpenter for Co Adaptive Building focusing on high performance retrofits of existing brownstones and townhouses. In her free time, she enjoys building odd furniture to grow plants and keep her two cats happy in her small city apartment.
