Zach McLuckie

Bio

Zach began his journey in craft at adolescence with his first job as a luthier's assistant in his home state of Missouri. After pursuing an education in the arts and music, Zach relocated to the Green Mountains in 2011 to get a Certificate in Sustainable Design and Build from Yestermorrow. Now after over a decade of hands-on experience working in the building industry as a carpenter and cabinet maker, it is a dream come true for him to be coming back to Yestermorrow to share his knowledge and passion for building. With experiences ranging from timber framing, renovation, and new construction to fine woodworking and sculpture he is excited to share the knowledge he has acquired through his years of experience.

Zach currently works as a cabinet maker, managing a small custom cabinet shop in Roxbury Vt.  He is also renovating his 230-year-old farmhouse and building furniture from his home workshop. When not building things you can find him playing with or making art with his daughter, making music with friends, or working in his garden.
