Bio

Ian Reid has been cooking and gardening professionally for seven years, previously at Sweet Pea's Cafe in Bar Harbor and Terra Plata in Seattle, among others. He is interested in providing compelling, locally-sourced food using new and old techniques, and strives to leave eaters feeling good. Ian has also dabbled in non-profit work, first for The Greenhorns and currently as a grant writer and development editor for The Maine Review. In his free time he does plenty of other things, like reading fiction, foraging, or carving spoons.
