Bob O'Hara is a designer/consultant/installer of solar electric and thermal systems in Denver, Colorado for GRID Alternatives. He is an alumnus of Yestermorrow's Design/Build internship program in 2008, after which he returned to his native New Orleans, Louisiana with renewed vigor for building and enhancing the cause of renewable energy.  At the beginning of 2019, he moved to Denver to join GRID Alternatives, the largest non-profit solar installation contractor in the nation which focuses on providing solar energy systems to low-income clients. He is a NABCEP Certified PV Installer, Solar Heating Installer, and PV Technical Sales Professional who also holds an MBA in Sustainable Business and Renewable Energy.  

While renewable energy is his primary focus, he spends his spare time on carpentry and building projects, community development, whole systems design, and playing with his dog.
