Upcycled Design (online)

In Upcycled Design we’ll teach you how to turn items from your home or yard into art or functional pieces for everyday use.

Whether it’s transforming an old shirt into a bag or turning a pallet into a picture frame, we’ll get our creative juices flowing as we rethink and reimagine everyday objects and materials, reworking them into budget- and environmentally-friendly treasures that are more wonderful than they were in their original incarnation.

Your instructor, Neisha Manickchand, will guide you through brainstorms, prototypes and designs alongside your fellow students to kick-start your creativity and help you turn your found objects into stunning decor and so much more.

Learn the skills to think outside the box and train your mind with resourceful, exploratory thinking while immersing yourself in a creative environment designed to set your project off on the right foot.

This online course will meet once a week, on Saturday mornings for 2 hour sessions, from 10AM-Noon (EST) from June 5-26, 2021.
