Live Edge Furniture Design

View Syllabus

This entry-level course is intended for the beginning woodworker. Students will learn the safe operation of shop equipment and hand tools. Demonstrations and discussions will supplement hands-on learning as students each build a live edge small table for their home. Learn to mill rough lumber, cut legs, traditional joinery, and different finishing techniques. Slab materials are sustainably harvested from the Yestermorrow Campus. Students are encouraged to bring their favorite hand tools.

Reviews:

What was the strongest part of the course? Being able to create my own table - my design/my style. Seeing all steps from start to finish. - 2019 Live Edge Furntiure Design Student
