In this two-week online workshop covering different types of composting toilets, you will learn about innovative alternatives to conventional wastewater management. Students will be able to identify the pros and cons of various systems, and understand the fundamental concepts of composting humanure for beneficial use. Specific attention will be given to exploring the technology and methodology of urine diversion.You will have the opportunity via presentations and discussion to learn about the history, science, and state of the eco-san industry. Your instructors are professionals in the field as well as experienced composting toilet users. 

NOTE: The May 2024 course will run on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:30-8:30pm ET for a total of four (4) 2-hour sessions.
