Nothing allows for the generation of design concepts and the development of design skills better than the tactile nature of drafting with pencil on tracing paper. Get familiar with basic drafting tools and conventions as you learn to draft floor plans, elevations, and sections. Then take it a step further, learning the tricks that will lift your drawings off the page and make them sing! The materials fee buys you a drafting kit to use and take home.
