House in the Woods is a small artisanal timber framing company that works on a wide variety of projects locally and regionally.  We are looking for an apprentice to work with us this building season.  Position starts in April and will run until the end of October.  You are motivated with a positive attitude, a sense of humor and a commitment to safe work practices.  You have confidence with common power equipment, a strong interest in mastering the use of specialized tools and immersing yourself in the art of carpentry and timber framing.  We are an inclusive group and non-traditional folks are encouraged.  We operate a drug and cell phone free job site.  To apply - send us an email with a few lines about your background, skills, interest in timber framing and your contact info.
