The Carpenter is responsible for executing certain aspects of projects/production activities that support the Lead Carpenter and the goals of the company. With minimal input from the Lead Carpenter they should be able to execute all carpentry required of the project and do so in a way that encourages satisfied customers, excellent work we can be proud to contribute to the community and attainting the desired profit margin for each job through organized, efficient use of time and materials. The Carpenter will be assigned to one or more projects and may at times be managing a project.

Requirements: 5 or more year’s experience as a carpenter with framing and finish carpentry skills, as well as a comprehensive understanding of the building and remodeling process. Must be organized, have good verbal and written communication skills, and possess the ability to be a problem solver. Must be a team player, be open-minded, have a curiosity and desire to continue to learn, have the ability to share knowledge. Must be optimistic and be willing to adapt and change to new perspectives and want to share in responsibility for the success of the company.

Our ultimate goal is to manage a project well to achieve an on time, on budget completion of a quality project with a satisfied customer.

Hours: Generally, 40 hours per week, 7:30am – 4:00pm, Monday through Friday.
Some additional hours are possible as are some weeks with less hours, although this is rare.

Attire: Clar Construction employees are required to dress neatly and professionally. We will provide shirts with our logo that must be worn at all times. Appropriate footwear and neat

pants must be provided by the employee.
