Portland Maine Lead Carpenter

Thompson Johnson Woodworks is an award-winning, woman-owned residential construction company serving the greater Portland area from an office on Peaks Island. We employ best building practices to ensure that our projects are beautiful, highly energy-efficient, and long-lasting.

We are seeking a frame to finish lead carpenter, with all the usual tools. Our ideal candidate will have 10-100 years of residential carpentry experience. Most importantly, you will be a problem solver who is organized, articulate, collaborative, and detail-oriented. We have a great team and we are looking for great people to join us.

Our benefits package is generous: full-time employees receive paid vacation, holidays, health insurance, retirement contribution, and a tool allowance. Compensation is very competitive and wages are based on skill level.

This is a full-time job, not a 1099 position.
