Our Land Stewards maintain buildings, build foot trails, put up firewood, and help with general land stewardship at Knoll Farm. Land Stewards have experience with: operating tools such as chainsaws, brush hogs, and weed-whackers; repairing small engines, felling trees, splitting and stacking wood, using and sharpening hand tools like scythes and bow saws; wilderness first responder, operating a tractor and standard transmission, and trail building.
Our team makes possible all of the exciting things that go on at Knoll Farm. We work incredibly hard, and are always learning together. The place is always beautiful and every day is different, involving new people, new weather, new crops in season and an ever-changing experience of the land.
