The job of the Designer is to “Lift Spirits with Spaces” by developing a build-able design through our “Complete Planning” process, fulfilling the client’s vision of how their space will best serve their needs.

We are continually searching for top talent at all levels of Design – so a candidate who is a good fit for our company would be placed based on their skill level and relative ability to independently manage a full design project. Mentorship is provided by our in-house Licensed Architect to keep a talented Designer moving upward in their skills and experience.

Some of the skills required for this job are:

Excellent design aesthetic with creative solutions to space challenges
Proficient in the use of Auto-CAD, SketchUp; familiarity with Revit is a plus
Able to handle multiple projects concurrently to meet project demands
Able to work well in a team setting and willing to collaborate and follow a successful system
Familiarity with materials and methods utilized in residential construction
Some wood frame construction and residential remodeling experience
Experience in selections, modeling, documentation and detailing knowledge
Client management experience, with excellent communication and inter-personal relationship skills
Open to learning and willing to train to improve and increase performance skills
MS Office Suite and familiarity with SharePoint and Office 365 preferred
Must be a self-starter and willing to take full responsibility for creating a positive client experience that meets and exceeds expectations
