Design/Build Coordinator

Yestermorrow Design/Build School is seeking a full time Design/Build Coordinator with project management experience to join our team. A qualified applicant will have the skills and abilities to manage and complete class projects, maintain tools and equipment, and be enthusiastic about working on a team. Strong communication skills, organization, and building experience required.  This post is eligible for Yestermorow’s generous benefits package. Salary is based on the applicant’s experience level.

Class Support  (approximately 60%)

  • Set up / reset classrooms between courses; organize tools, hardware, and materials
  • Communicate with instructors about class needs, project plans, and order materials and supplies
  • Manage and maintain Yestermorrow’s tools and materials inventories
  • Oversight, instruction, and delegation of interns for class support and projects

 

Project Management: (approximately 30%)

  • Screen client inquiries (received primarily via website)
  • Client relations/development (pursue client projects, nurture relationships)
  • Client contracts and agreements with support of Office Manager
  • Short course and small project management
  • Finish class projects before delivery to client as needed, coordinate logistics of storage and delivery as needed

 

Facilities Support (approximately 10%)

  • Support the facilities manager as needed for site, campus, classroom, tools and equipment
  • Routine building maintenance
  • Basic landscaping as needed (lawn mowing, snow removal etc.)
