Job Description:
This position is located at our facility in Grantham, NH. We are seeking an experienced Architectural CAD Designer to join our Design Department. This individual will help design homes as part of an integrated project team working directly with our clients. The architectural designer is responsible to help develop the architectural plans, 3D model, construction build plans as well as actively communicate with the Project Manager regarding timeline, structural and design matters.
Responsibilities:
• Will produce construction drawings using the latest version of ArchiCAD.
• Responsibilities include developing schematic design drawings, 3D images and construction document drawing packages with details.
• Gather and collect design requirements from building department for new construction..
• Submit architectural designs to management and clients for review.
• This position includes a great variety of day-to-day assignments in order meet the needs of both our client and manufacturing needs.
• Manage and execute design assignments in a timely manner.
• Basic computer and software skills including; Office, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint
Requirements:
• The successful applicant will have 5+ years experience working as an architectural/structural designer drawing full Construction Drawings.
• Must be current and proficient with 3D CAD software (ArchiCAD preferred).
• Experience with 3D architectural modeling, rendering and BIM
• Experience with post and beam design and/or panelized production is desired.
Education:
2 to 4 year Architectural Technology/Engineering degree required
