Written by Aanika Ruutopold - Our time at Yestermorrow is coming to an end. With our graduation next Saturday, sandwiched between all the holidays, I thought I’d look back and list that which I am thankful for.

I’m so thankful for getting the opportunity to take four months to design and build an entire dorm.

I know that my friends and family are just as appreciative as I am that this program brought me back to New England. I’m so happy to be back in Vermont.

Through the four months in this valley, I’ve seen three beautiful seasons. The hot sun of late summer to the brisk, dull chill of early winter. Spending so much time outside has been such a treat. I even appreciate the torrential downpours.

The food. Oh my, the food. Any list of favourites wouldn’t be complete without mentioning the delicious meals by Michelle and Meg. I’m not even mad about the weight gain. I’m so excited to take so many recipes home with me, especially Meg’s Maple Hot Sauce. Yum!

And finally, I would not have been able to make it through this semester without the amazing, hardworking friends I’ve made. Thank you for all of your stupid jokes and memes.
