There are four easy ways to register for a class at Yestermorrow:

ONLINE: You can now register ONLINE through clicking the "Register" button on each course page.

BY PHONE: Call our office Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm at our toll free number (888) 496-5541 and we would be happy to process your registration over the phone.

BY FAX: Fax in the registration form from our catalog (or download the PDF here) to (802) 496-5540 with your credit card number.

BY MAIL: Mail in the registration form from our catalog (or download the PDF here) to Yestermorrow at 189 VT Route 100, Warren, VT 05674 with your check, money order or credit card number and we will process it once it is received.

Yestermorrow offers a variety of Discounts towards course tuition which can be applied towards registration, as well as Financial Aid.

Upon enrollment all students will be sent a Welcome Package containing your receipt, required forms, directions to the school, things to bring, and course-specific information. If you have any additional questions about schedules, lodging, or anything else, please do not hesitate to give us a call.

Class Schedules

One and Two-week Courses
Unless otherwise noted, all one and two week classes will begin with orientation on Sunday at 5pm on the Yestermorrow campus. Students should plan to arrive with plenty of time to check-in and unpack before the orientation begins. Your Welcome Packet will contain details, directions, and course-specific information.

Courses generally run from 8:30am-5pm and most have evening components devoted to studio, lectures, and slide shows. Two-week courses may have weekend activities scheduled, with at least one full day off. In most cases, courses end Friday night after the final project review, graduation, and dinner banquet. Home Design courses run through mid-day on Saturday.

Workshops
Unless otherwise noted, workshops run Saturday and Sunday from 9am - 5pm.

Our courses are intensive and comprehensive, dictating a tight schedule. We ask all students to be prompt!


Cancellation

Student Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your enrollment at least two weeks prior to the class start date, your deposit will be forfeited, and any other payments will be refunded. If you cancel your enrollment within two weeks of the start of class, your deposit will be forfeited, and the remainder of the class fee will be held as a credit to be used on a future class. If you cancel your enrollment within 48 hours of the beginning of class, all fees will be forfeited.

Class Transfer Policy

If you request to transfer to a different class two weeks prior to the start of the class you are registered for, a fee of $50 will be charged. See cancellation policy for transferring between classes within two weeks of the start of your class.

Class Cancellation Policy

Yestermorrow reserves the right to cancel classes due to inadequate enrollment or other circumstances beyond our control. In the event of a cancellation, we will refund all payments, including deposits.

Certificate and Semester Program Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your enrollment at least one month prior to the class start date, your deposit will be forfeited, and any other payments will be refunded. If you cancel your enrollment within one month of the start of class, your deposit will be forfeited, and the remainder of the class fee will be held as a credit to be used on a future class. If you cancel your enrollment within 48 hours of the beginning of class, all fees will be forfeited.

Certificate in Sustainable Building & Design Withdrawal Policy

If withdrawing completely from the Certificate in Sustainable Building & Design after completing a portion of the class requirements, $500 will be forfeited and any remaining funds will be refunded, less the cost of completed classes. Meals & Lodging Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your reservation for meals and/or lodging, the first day of your reservation will be forfeited, and the remainder of your reservation will be refunded to you.

Class Credit Policy

All credits with Yestermorrow will expire after three years from the date the credit was issued. Yestermorrow reserves the right to grant an extension of the credit expiration. A written request must be received by Yestermorrow 60 days prior to the expiration date in order for us to consider an extension.

School Policies

Students enrolled in courses involving hands-on site or shop work must have major medical insurance coverage in effect for the duration of the course.  All students must fill out an Emergency Contact Form and Hold Harmless Agreement prior to the course start.

Public Transportation

Travelling via Public Transportation?

By Air
The closest airport is Burlington, VT (BTV) which is about an hour from Yestermorrow. Taxi service is available from the airport for about $80-90 each way. We strongly encourage you to call and book your taxi in advance using one of the services listed below.  There are also car rental agencies at the airport.

By Train
The closest Amtrak train station is Waterbury, VT (if you are coming from the North) or Montpelier, VT (if you are coming from the South).  The "Vermonter" train runs twice a day, arriving around 8:00pm and departing around 9:40am.  Check www.amtrak.com for details on train schedules.  Taxi service is available from either train station; it is about a 30 minute drive to Yestermorrow and the taxi costs around $50.  You need to call and book a taxi at least a few hours in prior to your arrival- the train station is in a rural area, does not have a taxi stand, and has limited cell phone reception, so you'll want to make sure there's someone there to meet your train.

By Bus
The closest bus station is Montpelier, VT and is accessible by Greyhound buses 3 times a day. Megabus also provides direct service to Burlington. Taxi service is available from the bus stop; it is about a 30 minute drive to Yestermorrow and the taxi costs around $50.  You need to call and book a taxi at least a few hours in prior to your arrival- you'll want to make sure there's someone there to meet your bus.
