Greg Ryan is a master craftsman, professional musician and inventor living in central Vermont. His work has been featured in numerous publications including most recently in Small Houses by Lloyd Khan. In the late eighties, at the age of 20, Greg designed and built a computerized sorting machine for a Fortune 500 company. His design/build projects include a super-efficient solar-human hybrid vehicle that combines photovoltaics with muscle power, a solar greenhouse for year round food production, a straw-clay yurt inspired round home, and unique one-of-a-kind instruments. After building his first tiny house in the early 90’s, Greg became fascinated with traditional vardos. His first gypsy wagon (vardo) has now traveled over 15,000 miles attracting many admirers along the way.
