MArch, MIT; AIA Jim is founder and Principal of Edgcomb Design Group since its inception in 1986. Jim designs residential and commercial buildings with a focus on energy efficiency and sustainable design and construction practice. Jim's designs are creative and contemporary interpretations of regional vernacular, including Adirondack and Vermont traditions. He has also produced several land development plans, which conserve farmland and minimize impacts on the natural and visual environment and recently been designing a LEED Gold nature center in CT. Jim has taught at MIT and Yestermorrow since 1983. |
