Plumbing Demystified

Residential plumbing is the vascular system of a home. It allows the distribution of fresh water through its "arteries", and returns waste water through its "veins" to a "kidney" for filtration and elimination or recycling, while allowing gasses to be "expirated" through its vents. In Plumbing Demystified, you will learn how this anatomical system operates, the various ways to construct, alter and repair it, how a typical septic system functions and what alternatives are available for both fresh water and waste water systems. We will also explore how the plumbing system relates to and impacts the other elements of a residential structure, and why good design must consider the mechanical systems from the start.
