This class is designed for those who already own a home and want to better understand its systems so as to be able to tackle repair problems and maintenance likely to be encountered around the house. In this week long class we will cover basic tools and materials, some basic carpentry such as building shelves, and common repairs to walls, floors, windows and doors. A day of electrical will range from replacing a lamp plug to adding a dimmer switch to adding a GFCI; and a day of plumbing will tackle repairing leaky faucets and replacing a bathroom fixture. No need to hire someone if you can do it yourself! Beginner to Intermediate.
