Concrete Countertops

Elegant and ancient, concrete is finding a new home in the modern kitchen. From the countertop to sink, bathtub to desktop, almost anything is possible with the maleable properties of concrete. This workshop will focus on the forming, mixing, pouring, placement, and sealing of the modern concrete counter. Subjects such as mix design, reinforcement, and coloring will also be covered. We will do this by creating a colored counter as a group project. Students will participate in every aspect of this process. All Levels.
