Yestermorrow offers a variety of ways for students to earn college credit for our courses. Students can earn college credit for selected courses directly through the University of Vermont (UVM). In addition, past students have also earned credit for courses by appealing to their home institutions backed by instructor recommendations and course descriptions. We are happy to help students with any of the above processes. All credits earned at the school are transferable only at the discretion of the receiving school. Please call for details.

2. Before the course begins, the student must submit an essay to the course instructor describing the student's expectations and goals for the course.
3. Pass/Fail grades will be given by the instructor and will be based upon the following: a) evaluation of work completed by the student; b) feedback from the student and teaching staff; c) a written evaluation composed by the student consisting of a minimum of three written pages, single spaced. Letter grades will be given if required by the credit-granting institution.

5. College credits earned at Yestermorrow are transferable only at the discretion of the receiving school or institution.
6. A certificate of completion will be awarded at graduation, based upon review of all course work.
Student Records
The school maintains academic records for those students taking college credit. The records consist of the following: registration form, student profile sheet, correspondence with the student, written evaluation of the student's progress, and a final review from the instructor. Students have the right to inspect their academic records and challenge any information which they believe to be inaccurate or misleading. Further access to student records is limited to the staff involved in the student's courses. Access will also be granted to any person(s) specifically designated by the student in writing.
The school maintains a database of all past and present students, which includes the student's name, address, phone number, and building project(s), if known. This information is available to the public (in particular, to journalists writing articles about the school or design/build). The student must notify the school, in writing, if he/she does not want this information to be released. Official transcripts will be issued upon request from the student and payment of a $10 fee for each transcript. In accordance with Title 16VSA 175, if the school proposes to discontinue the regular course of instruction, the school shall:
1. Promptly inform the state board
2. Prepare the academic record of each current and former student in a form satisfactory to the state board and including interpretive information required by the board.
3. Deliver the records to a person designated by the state board to act as permanent repository for the institution's records, together with the reasonable cost of entering and maintaining the records.
4. Students and former students shall be entitled to verified copies of their records upon payment of a reasonable fee.
