Yestermorrow offers three certificate programs designed for students looking for intensive, in-depth, hands-on opportunities for deepening understanding, acquiring functional skill sets, and widening career opportunities.
Certificate in Sustainable Building and Design
Yestermorrow has been teaching ways to reduce global and local ecological impacts by creating environmentally responsive and sustainable architecture. Our Certificate in Sustainable Building and Design provides students with a solid grounding in sustainable design principles, along with hands-on experience in the design/build process.
Woodworking Intensive
Yestermorrow's 10-week Woodworking Intensive program is designed to give amateurs and aspiring professionals a solid grounding in woodworking and furniture making techniques. Led by Yestermorrow's talented and nationally recognized faculty, including Peter Buley, Eyrich Stauffer, Skip Dewhirst, Larry Jacquette, John McCown, Mark Krawczyk, and others, the program offers students exposure to a wide range of woodworking styles and techniques. With two instructors available at all times and a maximum of eight students, each participant receives individualized instruction and guidance throughout the program.
Natural Building Intensive
The Natural Building Intensive is a unique course of study that brings together a collaborative group of experienced and enthusiastic instructors with students in an in-depth, hands-on experience in natural building, from the design and planning stages through the finishing touches.
